Mr. Gabriel Abed

Mr. Gabriel Abed, a distinguished Barbadian diplomat, currently serves as the Ambassador of Barbados to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). His tenure began in August 2021, following an announcement by the Government of Barbados. Beyond his diplomatic role, Gabriel Abed has made significant contributions to the fields of technology and finance. Abed’s journey began at Queen’s College, a public secondary school in Barbados. Later, he pursued higher education at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (now Ontario Tech University), graduating in 2010 with a degree in Information Network Systems. As a visionary entrepreneur, Abed co-founded Bitt Inc., a technology company that has worked with notable partners such as Overstock.com.
