At the core of Dr. Miller’s life and career is his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Guided by the truth of Romans 10:11—“Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame”—he strives to integrate integrity, purpose, and service into every aspect of his professional journey.

Dr. Sean T. Miller is a Lecturer in the Department of Computing within the Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies, Mona. A passionate researcher and educator, Dr. Miller specializes in Machine Learning and Cybersecurity, with a particular focus on botnet detection, interpretability in AI models, and the application of large language models in both security and healthcare contexts.

He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of the West Indies, where he developed the “Multi-Perspective Machine Learning” (MPML) ensemble method for botnet detection and analysis. Dr. Miller has published in leading journals and conferences and has contributed significantly to the understanding of machine learning applications in network security.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Miller is deeply committed to public engagement and has delivered presentations on artificial intelligence across multiple platforms—from universities to churches and international conferences. His work has attracted research grants from institutions including the University of Leeds and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
