Dr. Cherie Tulloch is an accomplished Obstetrician & Gynecologist recognized for clinical excellence and women’s health advocacy across the Caribbean region. Currently appointed as a Consultant at The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre in Antigua, she also maintains a private practice and provides critical OB/GYN services on the island of Montserrat.
After earning her medical degrees from The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, Dr. Tulloch completed her residency training at UWI’s University Hospital. There she rose to become Chief Resident leading units on labor and delivery, high-risk pregnancies, gynecologic surgery, and more. She further honed her expertise via an observership at Maimonides Medical Center in New York focused on latest techniques in minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Tulloch has authored peer-reviewed research on topics ranging from tubal corrective surgery to urinary incontinence in pregnancy. She is currently spearheading implementation of national HPV testing and cervical cancer prevention policies for Antigua’s Ministry of Health. Her clinical and policy efforts have directly enhanced women’s reproductive care locally and regionally.
Among her recognitions, Dr. Tulloch is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYNs and belongs to prestigious societies including the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy. She continues to pursue opportunities expand her education – most recently by completing ISGE’s Intensive Course on Hysterectomy.
