Enrique Zapata leads initiatives related to data intelligence, emerging technologies, open government, and GovTech at CAF. He previously served as Director General for Open Data at the Office of the President of Mexico, where he designed and implemented data intelligence and artificial intelligence initiatives across key sectors including anti-corruption, public procurement, economic development, disaster response, and health. In this capacity, he also represented Mexico in international forums such as the OECD and the OAS.
