Tianze Zhang is the visionary founder of the AI For Developing Countries Forum (AIFOD), an organization dedicated to unlocking artificial intelligence’s potential for developing nations and the Global South. As a leader at the intersection of AI, international development, and global commerce, Tianze has established AIFOD as a platform that bridges the public and private sectors to address global challenges through technology.
With a background in international law and research focused on AI and International Law, Tianze brings significant expertise to his role. His dedication to ethical AI deployment and digital sovereignty in developing nations has positioned AIFOD as a key voice in shaping inclusive global AI policies.
In collaboration with Antigua and Barbuda, Tianze successfully led AIFOD in hosting the Geneva Summit at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG) on January 27-28, 2025. This landmark event brought together over 600 participants from more than 100 countries under the theme “Empowering the South 2030: Forging an AI Future of Inclusive Digital Sovereignty.”
Beyond AIFOD, Tianze serves as CEO of ZAAN.com, a community-driven platform furthering the democratization of legal services for everyone, demonstrating his commitment to cross-cultural collaboration and international cooperation.
